The short version
- We collect only what we need to run your account: your name, email, a contact handle, your orders and your payments. You never need to give us your own phone number.
- Your codes and messages are shown only in your account. We never sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
- Payments go through our crypto payment processor; we never see card or bank details.
- Analytics cookies stay off unless you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time.
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing us from your account's email address.

1.Who we are
TextVerification ("we", "us") operates textverification.io and is responsible, as controller, for the personal data described in this policy. It covers our website, account dashboard, API and support channels.
If you have a question about this policy or want to use your privacy rights, contact us at [email protected].
2.Data we collect
Data you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp contact you give us at sign-up.
- Google sign-in: if you continue with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.
- Profile picture: if you upload one.
- Support messages: what you write to us by email or on Telegram, including screenshots you send.
- Settings: your callback URL, notification preferences and favorite services.
Data created when you use the Service
- Orders and rentals: the products and services you order, the numbers assigned to you, prices, times and statuses, and the codes and full messages received on your numbers.
- Payments: the amount, cryptocurrency, network, transaction ID, the invoice's wallet address and the payment status. We never receive card or bank details.
- Balance and loyalty: your balance, top-ups, spending, discounts and loyalty level.
- Security data: the IP address and device of your sessions, failed sign-in attempts and temporary blocks, your encrypted two-factor secret and hashed recovery codes, your encrypted API key, and when you accepted which version of our Terms.
- Technical data: like any website, our servers and our network provider process your IP address, browser type and request details to deliver pages and protect the Service from attacks.
Analytics data, only with your consent: if you accept analytics cookies, our analytics service collects the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location (derived from your IP address) and your device and browser type.
3.How we use your data
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, and providing numbers, codes and rentals | Account, order and settings data | Performing our contract with you |
| Processing top-ups, refunds and discounts | Payment, balance and loyalty data | Performing our contract; legal obligations such as accounting |
| Keeping accounts and the Service secure, and preventing fraud, abuse and fake sign-ups | Security and technical data, bot-protection signals | Our legitimate interest in a safe service; legal obligations |
| Answering your support requests | Support messages and the related account and order data | Performing our contract; our legitimate interest in helping you |
| Sending service emails: email verification, password resets, deposit confirmations and security alerts | Name and email address | Performing our contract; our legitimate interest in account security |
| Understanding how the site is used, to improve it | Analytics data | Your consent |
| Complying with the law and answering lawful requests | The data a request concerns | Legal obligations |
We don't send marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them. We don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing; some protections run automatically, such as a temporary block after repeated failed sign-ins, and our team reviews them if you contact us.
4.Your codes and messages
Codes and messages received on your numbers are shown only in your account and, if you've set one up, sent to your callback URL. They're never published or shown to other customers.
To deliver messages, our telecommunications partners and carriers handle them before they reach us. Our team accesses a specific order and its messages only when that's needed to give you support, investigate a problem or abuse, or comply with the law.
If you use voice verification on Pinpoint, the call is connected in your browser through our voice provider. We don't record calls ourselves; where the provider keeps a recording for an order, only you can open it, from that order's details.
7.How long we keep data
- Account data: for as long as your account is open.
- Orders, codes and messages: in your order history for as long as your account is open, so you can look back at them. Ask us and we'll delete them sooner.
- Payment records: for as long as your account is open, or longer where the law requires us to keep accounting records.
- Security data: session details until the session ends or is replaced; records of blocks and abuse investigations for as long as needed to protect the Service.
- Support conversations: for as long as needed to resolve your request and keep a record of it.
- Analytics data: kept by our analytics provider for the retention period we've set.
When an account is deleted, we delete its orders, messages, deposits and settings. Copies in backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
8.How we protect your data
We protect your data with measures suited to the risks, including:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website, dashboard and API;
- passwords stored only as salted hashes, and API keys and two-factor secrets stored encrypted;
- optional two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, and protection against cross-site request forgery;
- rate limits, bot protection and temporary blocks against password guessing;
- access to personal data limited to team members who need it for their work.
No system is completely secure. If a breach of your personal data puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires. Help protect your account with a unique password and two-factor authentication.
9.Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate data (you can update most details yourself in your account settings);
- have your data deleted and your account closed;
- object to or restrict some uses of your data, such as those based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example to analytics cookies, without affecting what happened before;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email [email protected] from your account's email address, with "Privacy request" in the subject. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we'll answer within 30 days or tell you if we need more time.
California residents: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we never treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
10.International transfers
We and our service providers may process your data in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union, where data protection laws may differ. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.
11.Children
The Service isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
12.Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when our practices or the law change, and show the date of the current version at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell you by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect.
13.Contact us
For anything about your privacy or this policy, email [email protected] (subject: "Privacy request") or message us on Telegram.
